Compass Working Capital: SVP Boston's 2010 Investment

SVP Partners have selected Compass Working Capital for a significant three year investment. Partners will spend the next three years working with the leadership of Compass Working Capital to help build the organization's ability to deliver its transformative programs to many, many more families in the Boston area.  Partners will volunteer their skills in areas such as product development, organizational design, and Board development. To support the investments needed to grow the organization, SVP will award a significant cash grant to Compass Working Capital. 

Compass Working Capital is a Boston-based nonprofit that provides savings and financial coaching programs to help low-income, working families achieve economic stability. Compass Working Capital's work with hundreds of families in the Boston area has shown that asset ownership reduces the intergenerational transfer of poverty, stabilizes families and neighborhoods, and improves children's educational achievement.
