Junko Nagano
Junko Nagano was Born in Tokyo, Japan, and moved to the States in junior high school is now a naturalized U.S. citizen. She graduated MIT in 1985 with a SB in Electrical Engineering. She worked as an electro optical engineer and then as a system engineer at Adaptive Optics Associates, then a wholly owned subsidiary of United Technologies Hamilton Standard, in Cambridge MA, and then as a program manager at Mercury Computer Systems in Chelmsford MA. She has worked at the MathWorks as a program manager since 2007, where she plays a consulting role to product development teams. Junko lives in Arlington with her husband Peter. She enjoys team sports and has played for her soccer team for almost 20 years and for her ice hockey team for over five years. She has also taught youth hockey for several years. |
