Dan Ross
During a career that has included 10 years with a trucking company, 10 years of strategy consulting and 10 years in the Third Party Logistics (i.e., logistics outsourcing) industry, Dan Ross has helped companies grow through roles in Operations, Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Strategic Planning, and Project Management. Dan has recently returned to Boston after 10 years in Columbus Ohio, where he worked for Exel, a logistics company acquired by Deutsche Post. Prior to moving to Ohio, he worked at Mercer Management Consulting in Lexington, MA (now Oliver Wyman in Boston.) Currently, Dan is taking time off to reassess priorities and identify new areas of interest, including the non-profit sector, where he can apply his experience. Dan earned his BA from Yale and his MBA from Harvard. He is married to Jeanne Ross, who is Director of a research center at the Sloan School at MIT and author of several books on management of information technology. Among Dan and Jeanne's favorite pastimes are international travel and keeping up with the exploits of their three grown children. |
