After completing a teacher training program and teaching for 2 years in New Hampshire, she taught for 20 years in the Boston Public Schools beginning in 1972 (the height of the busing controversy.) She joined the board of the Newton Schools Foundation in 1997 and still serves, currently as the Co-Chair of the Grant Committee for the Foundation. Patsy became a partner in Social Venture Partners Boston in the fall of 2001 and has been a member of the board since 2004. She is an avid skier and spends her winters pursuing that passion in Colorado. Other interests include traveling, cycling, and photography. |
