Marjorie Ringrose
Executive Director
Marjorie's professional career has centered on building organization structures and processes to achieve strategic goals. As a management consultant with a leading telecommunictions and media consulting firm, she led complex projects for clients who were entering new product and geographic markets or were integrating assets gained through mergers and acquisitions. After having her three children, Marjorie moved into a senior operations role, designing structures and processes that helped the firm more than quadruple in size while maintaining product quality and job satisfaction. In addition to consulting, Marjorie founded an executive training company, focusing on strategic planning, project management, and communications. Her clients include senior executives from numerous Fortune 50 companies.
Her volunteer work focuses on education and youth development, particularly on urban public schools and at-risk youth. She has founded and held leadership positions on numerous non-profits, including the Charlestown Substance Abuse Coalition, MissionSAFE Charlestown, the Warren-Prescott School, and the Charlestown Mother's Association. She works closely with the Boston City Council, the Mayor's Department of Neighborhood Services, and the Boston Police Department to design and implement creative approaches for improving the quality of urban living.
Marjorie holds a BS from Trinity University and a MSc and PhD from the London School of Economics. She taught economics and business at the London School of Economics and Cyprus College in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Marjorie is an amateur photographer and enjoys tennis, mountain and road biking, skiing, and hiking.
