Mary Lou Boutwell
Harvest Capital Partners Principal
Mary Lou has had a long career in Boston real estate. She co-founded and is currently a Managing Partner of Westport Point Capital, a real estate firm that invests in office properties in the Boston market, and also co-founded and is a Principal of Harvest Capital Partners, a real estate consulting firm. Prior to founding these companies, she was Director of Property Development for the Allston Initiative Team at Harvard University where she was responsible for various real estate developments, financing and acquisition projects related to Harvard’s campus expansion efforts. Mary Lou was also Managing Director and Senior Advisor at Charlesbank Capital Partners, a Partner and Co-director of the Asset Management Group at TA Associates Realty, Vice President and Project Manager at Spaulding & Slye, and the Associate Director of the Center for Real Estate at MIT.
Before her career in real estate, Mary Lou managed grant and loan programs for the National Trust for Historic Preservation in Washington, DC, advised the Ford Foundation on strategic planning and program-related investments in the US and Asia and was a Vice President and Lending Officer for Citicorp in New York and Boston.
Mary Lou received a B.A. in art history from Williams College and a M.S. in Real Estate Development from MIT. She is a Trustee of Middlesex School, a member of the Real Assets Advisory Committee of Williams College, and a former Board member and member emeritus of New England Women in Real Estate. She resides in Boston and has two adult sons. |
