Patricia Gold
Patricia Gold is a long time Cambridge resident who currently works as a legal secretary at Greenberg Traurig. A Tufts University graduate, Patricia has worked with emotionally disturbed pre-schoolers at the James Jackson Putnam Children's Center in Roxbury, done therapeutic tutoring with children referred by psychiatrists from the Center, and taught "Child Care and Development" to juniors and seniors at Ashland Senior High. She worked at Wheelock College for 10 years in their Supplementary Training Program (which then evolved into their Associate Degree Program). The program offered training to para-professional adults working for Head Start and day care programs, helping them work toward a college degree and to move up the career ladder. She helped design and implement the program, including providing teaching and direct consulting to the child care centers. Before switching gears and moving into legal work, she served as Acting Director of the Cambridge Somerville Head Start. Outside of work, she's a devotee of pilates, theater arts, bicycling, and alternative health, including massage. |
