Nicole Lipson
Beaver Country Day School Teacher
Nicole Lipson is Chair of the English Department at Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, MA, where she teaches primarily 11th and 12th grade English. She received her BA in English from Cornell University and her MA in the Teaching of English from Columbia University. Before beginning her teaching career at the Dwight School in New York City, she worked for several years at Simon & Schuster, editing mostly novels and memoirs. As a teacher of writing, Nicole believes in continuing to challenge herself as a writer, just as she aims to challenge her students. She particularly enjoys writing essays and poetry-and over the years she has written for publications including the Washington Post, The Hudson Review, The New York Sun, Marie Claire, and Seventeen. |
