Sandy Lipson
Sandy Lipson's career has ranged across the retail and financial services industries and professional recruiting firms. A graduate of Skidmore College, with a degree in English, she worked in single- and multi-unit management for book and clothing businesses before moving into human resources. She headed executive recruiting, placement, and development for two large retail companies. Her last corporate experiences spanned 13 years with Fidelity Investments where she held VP roles in executive recruiting and talent management. Her current activities include serving as Chair of Career and Professional Development for Skidmore's Alumni Board, being a member of the National Advisory Council for Skidmore's Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery, and participating as founding/advisory council member of World Class, an organization that provides micro-credit, fresh water, and sanitation systems to the residents of greater Amasaman, Ghana. Her other passions revolve around art, design, and locally grown, clean foods. |
