This session will focus on relatively small changes that staff and board leaders can make that can strengthen the culture, build capacity and ultimately increase resilience, a key element to enabling smooth transitions.
David Harris is Managing Partner of Interim Executive Solutions, a network with over 200 professionals who step in as interim executive leaders in nonprofits throughout the country. After spending six years in the classroom as an 8th-grade math teacher, David amassed extensive consulting and operating leadership experience in nonprofits, serving as Co-Chair of Community Action Partners, Deputy Director of Teachers21, and Managing Director of the UPCS Institute. Before earning an MAT and entering the education field, David spent 20 years as a management consultant, marketing director, and business executive in various computer software and retail organizations. David holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Sc.B. in Biochemistry from Brown University.
