Dear Partners, Grantees, and Supporters,

As the season changes and the air feels lighter and fresher, I'm feeling a sense of momentum building here at SVP Boston. We are welcoming four new partners and a new board member, launching our next grant round, hosting events, and building new ways to connect and support each other and our community.

I appreciate your hard work and your feedback. Please feel free to reach out. I am always available for a chat by phone, video, or over a cup of coffee!

With gratitude,

Welcome New Board Member

Cliff Manko

Sustaining Partner and Board Member

We are thrilled to welcome Sustaining Partner Cliff Manko to the SVP Boston board. Cliff is a retired publishing executive who held senior finance positions at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Cengage Learning, and Beacon Press.

He brings to our client engagements many years of experience in budgeting and planning, management reporting, data analytics, and operations. Cliff began his career as a CPA at Ernst & Young. He is a graduate of Cornell and NYU Business School.

"I joined SVP Boston because it serves an important niche of the Metro Boston nonprofit community, and it has a great track record of helping its clients achieve and exceed their mission plans. SVP Boston client engagements typically last 1-2 years, and that particularly appeals to me because I want not only to learn about an organization's mission and operations in order to refine its action plans, but also to actively help implement the action plans. Client engagements have 4-6 SVP Boston partners, and we each bring different skills and perspectives to client engagements, and I really enjoy that too.”

Welcome New Catalyst Partners

“My organization is ready to launch a CRM system, and Susan provided me with great guidelines and features I should look for when making this critical investment.” -Lunch and Learn Attendee
