Partner with Us
Our volunteer partners join project teams assigned to our grantees to provide pro bono consulting services to address the critical needs of their organizations. These projects provide great networking and upskilling opportunities to individuals, all while giving back in an impactful way.

Our partners come from varied professional and personal backgrounds, but share a passion for sparking lasting social change in Boston. By combining professional expertise with financial support, our partners are able to have outsized impact on some of our city’s most promising nonprofits.
Our partners make a minimum annual gift of $5,500, and many give much more. Our partners early in their careers (age 35 and younger) make an annual gift of $2,750. Partner donations are pooled to fund the local nonprofits SVP supports as well as our programming and operations. These contributions are stretched further by those who volunteer their time and skills to strengthen our Grantees, SVP, and the social sector at large.

Partner roles are very flexible. Some partners simply use SVP as a way to make a highly leveraged gift, others take advantage of our education sessions and peer learning opportunities, and some roll up their sleeves and dig into volunteer projects that benefit our grantees. Projects vary from grantee to grantee, but typically last 4-6 months, with a partner time commitment of about 3 hours a week.

Meet Our Partners
Our partners are volunteers. They are learners and doers, eager to roll up their sleeves to support a given project, to participate in workshops and attend lectures aimed at educating our network about the issues our grantees grapple with every day, and to work to gain practical skills to support emerging nonprofits within, and beyond, the SVP portfolio.
